A little background on Harringay:
The London Borough of Harringay was formed in 1965 by merging the Municipal Boroughs of Hornsey, Wood Green and Tottenham, all of which had been part of Middlesex. Covering 11 square miles, it has districts of affluence and others of deprivation. Unusually for a London Borough, about a quarter of the area is green space.
